# What an AI Double Can Actually Do Today

Answer questions, present your deck, share files, qualify people, book meetings, update your CRM. All inside a conversation, in your own voice.

Once somebody understands what a Double is, the next question is always the practical one. What does it actually do?

It deserves a concrete answer, because a single conversation with a Double can run from a question, to the right document, to a walkthrough of your deck, to a meeting booked in your calendar.

A Double answers questions from your knowledge base, presents and demos your product, shares files and links, asks qualifying questions, captures leads, books and reschedules meetings, sends email, updates your sheets and CRM, and runs the workflows you build for it.

All of it happens in text or in your own cloned voice, and it runs around the clock. Everything below is live in the product rather than sitting on a roadmap.

## **Answer questions from your knowledge base**

The most basic job of a Double is making your knowledge reachable at the moment somebody needs it.

Your knowledge base is built from the sources you upload and the ones you connect, which usually means PDFs, documents, decks, custom text, your website, videos, and social accounts like LinkedIn and X that keep updating as you post. A Double answers from all of it at once, so nobody has to work out which document held the thing they were looking for.

Consider somebody landing on your site at midnight with a real question, the kind that decides whether they take you seriously. Normally they read three pages, fail to find it, and leave. Instead they ask, and they get an answer, in your voice, with your reasoning behind it.

This also reaches the people who never ask you directly. A coach's client between sessions. A follower who read a post and wanted one clarification. A junior colleague who would rather guess than knock on your door for the third time this week.

## **Present and demo your product**

A Double can present a deck or document inside the conversation, moving through the material and answering questions about it as it goes.

This replaces a specific and very repetitive piece of work. Most first calls are spent on the same twenty minutes of context. You open the deck, explain the same six slides, and the real conversation only starts once that is over.

When a Double handles that part, people can stop and ask about the thing they actually care about instead of waiting politely until the end. The calls that follow start much further along, and the ones that were never going anywhere resolve themselves without taking an hour of your week.

## **Share files, links, images, and content**

Plenty of questions are answered better with a file than a sentence, and a Double can surface the right one without sending anybody off to a resources page.

That last row matters more than it looks. For the handful of questions where the answer must never vary, you write the response yourself and your Double uses it exactly as written.

## **Ask questions, qualify, and screen people**

A Double can run structured questions using free text, multiple choice, or ratings, and save every response.

That single capability covers a surprising amount of ground. Qualifying an inbound lead. Running a first round screening for a role. Collecting feedback after a project. Taking intake details before a consultation.

The difference from a form is that it happens inside a conversation. Nobody has to be persuaded to fill anything in, because they are already talking, and the Double can ask the next question based on what they just said rather than marching through a fixed list.

## **Capture leads and create contacts**

As a conversation goes on, a Double collects what matters and creates a contact record from it.

It does this the way a good salesperson does, which is to help first and ask second. It does not demand a name and email the moment somebody shows a flicker of interest, and it does not collect details it has no use for.

By the time you read the conversation, you have the person, what they wanted, and enough context to know whether it is worth your time.

## **Book, reschedule, and cancel meetings**

Scheduling is where a conversation most often stalls, so a Double handles the whole thing rather than just the first step.

Through Google Calendar it can check your availability, create an event, pull up the details, update an existing event, and cancel one. Through Calendly it can check open slots, schedule, retrieve a booking, and cancel it.

In practice that means somebody can ask what is free next week, take a slot, come back two days later and move it, or cancel it altogether, all in conversation and without emailing you about any of it.

## **Send emails from your inbox**

Everything up to this point happens inside the conversation. What follows happens in the tools you already use, once you connect them.

Connect your inbox and a Double can send email from it, either composed for the situation or built from a template you have written.

That covers the follow-up after a conversation, sending the resource you promised, confirming a booking, and passing an escalation to the right person. Depending on the permissions you grant, it can also read, search, and label threads.

## **Update and manage your Google Sheets**

A Double can read from and add to a connected spreadsheet, which for many people is the fastest way to get information out of a conversation and somewhere useful.

Every lead, questionnaire answer, demo request, support request, and interview record can be written into the sheet as it happens. If you do not run a CRM, this is usually the system of record, and it means nothing from a conversation has to be copied across by hand afterwards.

## **Create and update your Salesforce records**

With Salesforce connected, a Double can create, search, retrieve, and update leads and opportunities.

A qualified conversation therefore arrives in the pipeline as a proper record rather than as a note somebody has to transfer later. The details captured while talking are the same details that show up against the lead.

## **Manage leads and deals in Zoho CRM**

With Zoho connected, a Double can work with leads, contacts, deals, accounts, and records, including moving them forward as a conversation progresses.

Across all connected tools, what is actually available depends on your plan, the apps you connect, the permissions you grant, and the specific actions you switch on. A Double never reaches an account you have not connected, and never performs an action you have not enabled.

## **Run the workflows you set up**

Individual actions answer a moment. A workflow completes a whole process, and you build it yourself before your Double runs it.

You start with a trigger, such as a conversation beginning or a particular intent appearing. From there you can add conditions that continue only when a rule is met, routers that send sales, support, and recruitment requests down separate branches, waits that pause until the visitor gives you what the next step needs, and delays before a follow-up goes out. Each stage does its work through a skill, a connected app, a call to an external API, or your own custom logic.

Once it is set up, your Double runs the whole sequence on its own. Workflows people build most often:

- **Qualified product demo.** Answer product questions, ask company and use case, present the deck, share the pricing PDF, capture details, create a CRM lead, offer a meeting
- **Lead qualification.** Ask structured questions, evaluate fit, route high-fit leads, send follow-up, log to CRM or sheet, book a call
- **Recruitment screen.** Answer role questions, collect candidate details, ask screening questions, route on the answers, share job material, schedule the next step
- **Support escalation.** Answer from approved help content, share the guide, collect issue details, route what is unresolved, notify the team, keep the context
- **Consultation intake.** Understand the problem, ask scope and timeline, share a relevant case study, collect contact details, send a summary, schedule the consultation

Every step carries its own controls, and every ability in the chain is one you switched on.

## **Where your Double lives**

A Double is not stuck in one place, and the surface changes what it is good for.

It has its own Agent Page for a focused text or voice conversation, and a shareable link that works in an email signature, a social bio, or an investor follow-up. On your website it can sit as a bubble, a bar, or an inline widget without you rebuilding the page. A Card Page puts your profile, proof, experience, links, and services alongside the Double itself, so somebody can browse you and then talk to you.

A static profile tells people who you are. A Double lets them ask.

## **Who can use this**

A Double earns its place anywhere the same explanation gets given more than once.

- **Founders** explain the company to investors, customers, and candidates before any call happens
- **Sales and SDR teams** answer product questions, qualify interest, present decks, and book the next step
- **Support and customer success** answer from approved material and escalate what needs a human
- **Recruiters** explain roles and culture, and run first round screening
- **Coaches and consultants** make their frameworks available between sessions
- **Creators** let an audience ask instead of searching through years of old content
- **Agencies** run one for themselves and set them up for clients
- **Teams** stop the same three experienced people explaining the same process every week

## **What this adds up to**

Every capability here shares one property. It happens inside a conversation, which means nobody has to learn an interface, fill in a form, dig through a resources page, or wait for a slot in your calendar. They ask, and the thing they needed happens.

Taken one at a time, these look like features. Taken together, they are the difference between knowledge that sits in files and folders and knowledge that can answer, show, qualify, book, and follow up on its own.

The quickest way to understand what that feels like is to talk to one.
