Affiliate & Referral Program Terms
Last updated: July 2026
These Affiliate & Referral Program Terms govern participation in the Partner Program offered by Cardtree Technologies Private Limited, operating The Double (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By participating in the Partner Program, you agree to these Terms, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any program rules shown in your dashboard.
1. Overview
The Partner Program may include:
Referral Program: rewards for bringing new verified users;
Affiliate Program: commissions for paid conversions.
You may participate in either or both, subject to eligibility, verification, and account standing.
Participation in the Partner Program does not make you an employee, agent, legal representative, franchisee, reseller, or official spokesperson of The Double or Cardtree Technologies Private Limited.
You may promote The Double, but you may not make official promises, guarantees, legal claims, pricing commitments, security claims, compliance claims, roadmap commitments, or product representations unless we approve them in writing.
2. Key Definitions
Partner / Referrer: A user who shares a referral or affiliate link.
Referred User: A user who signs up using your referral or affiliate link.
Qualified Referral: A referred user who signs up and completes valid LinkedIn verification or any other verification required by us.
Successful Payment: A completed payment that is not refunded, disputed, reversed, fraudulent, or cancelled.
Net Revenue: Amount actually received by us, excluding taxes, discounts, refunds, credits, chargebacks, payment gateway fees, and processing fees.
Approved Commission: Commission that has passed validation and is eligible for payout.
3. Referral Program
Each eligible user may receive a unique referral link or ID.
A referral is valid only if the referred user:
signs up using your referral link;
uses a unique and valid account;
completes LinkedIn verification or any verification required by us;
is not a fake, duplicate, self-created, or abusive account.
Upon a Qualified Referral, both users may receive:
50 text replies
10 voice minutes
Referral credits:
have no monetary value;
cannot be withdrawn as cash;
cannot be transferred, sold, refunded, or exchanged;
may expire, change, or be revoked in cases of fraud, abuse, or program changes.
Referral attribution is tracked for up to 90 days from the first click, unless otherwise stated. Attribution is determined by our internal systems.
4. Affiliate Program
You may earn commission when a Referred User makes a Successful Payment.
Commission Structure
Unless otherwise stated:
commission is 30% of Net Revenue;
monthly plan commissions apply to each Successful Payment;
annual plan commission is earned once on the annual payment;
commissions apply only to paid plans, not free plans, trials, failed payments, credits, discounts, refunds, or disputed transactions.
Commission Duration
Commission is valid for up to 12 months per Referred User, starting from the first Successful Payment.
The 12-month period does not reset if the user cancels, pauses, downgrades, upgrades, or re-subscribes.
Commissions apply only while:
the Referred User remains an active paying customer;
your partner account remains active and in good standing;
the payment is successful, valid, and not refunded or disputed.
5. Commission Approval
Commissions are recorded as Pending after a Successful Payment.
A 7-day validation period applies from the payment date.
During this period:
if the payment is refunded, disputed, reversed, or flagged, the commission may be cancelled;
if the payment clears validation, the commission becomes Approved.
Only Approved Commissions are eligible for payout.
We may extend the validation period for high-risk, suspicious, enterprise, annual, or manually reviewed transactions.
6. Payouts
Only Approved Commissions are payable.
Payouts are processed monthly, at our discretion.
Balances below the threshold may be carried forward.
You must provide valid payout, tax, identity, and bank details where required.
We may delay, withhold, reverse, or cancel payouts if:
tax, bank, identity, or compliance details are incomplete;
the customer requests a refund;
the payment is disputed, reversed, fraudulent, or suspicious;
the partner violates these Terms;
the partner uses spam, bots, fake accounts, or deceptive marketing;
required affiliate disclosures are missing;
payout would violate law, sanctions, tax rules, platform rules, or internal risk checks.
7. Taxes, GST, and TDS
You are responsible for all taxes, filings, registrations, invoices, and compliance obligations related to referral rewards, affiliate commissions, or partner income.
Where required by law, we may deduct TDS, withholding tax, or other applicable deductions before payout.
If you are GST registered, you may be required to provide your GSTIN and issue a valid tax invoice.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, commissions are exclusive of GST.
Failure to provide required PAN, GSTIN, bank, invoice, or tax details may result in delayed payouts, withheld payouts, higher deductions, or forfeiture where permitted by law.
8. Attribution Rules
Attribution is determined by our internal systems.
Unless otherwise stated:
referral and affiliate attribution follow a 90-day window;
attribution may follow last-click or system-defined logic;
if multiple sources exist, final attribution is decided by us;
attribution may not apply if tracking fails, cookies are blocked, links are modified, users sign up through another source, or technical limitations occur.
We are not responsible for failed tracking caused by browser restrictions, privacy settings, ad blockers, incorrect links, or third-party systems.
9. Refunds, Chargebacks, and Adjustments
Refunded, disputed, reversed, cancelled, fraudulent, or failed transactions do not qualify for commission.
If a commission was already paid for a transaction that is later refunded, disputed, reversed, or found invalid, we may deduct the amount from future payouts or request repayment.
We may correct errors in tracking, calculations, approval status, attribution, or payouts at any time.
10. Partner Conduct
You may not:
create fake, duplicate, or self-referrals;
use bots, spam, scraping, fake accounts, or deceptive practices;
