The Double is a product operated by Cardtree Technologies Private Limited (“Cardtree”).

These guidelines outline the do’s and don’ts of using The Double to help keep you—and your audience—safe, professional, and respected.

By using The Double, you agree to abide by these standards.

1. Professional Conduct

The Double is a platform built for professional identity, discovery, and communication.
All content you create or share should reflect respectful, authentic, and lawful behavior.
Do not:

• Misrepresent your identity, credentials, or affiliations

• Create fake or misleading profiles

• Use the platform for spam, scams, or unrelated commercial exploitation

2. Adult Content

You may not:

• Upload or link to adult or pornographic media, including nudity or explicit content

• Use The Double to advertise or solicit adult services

• Create or share AI-generated sexual content involving real individuals

3. Hate Speech and Discrimination

We welcome diverse ideas and backgrounds but not harmful content.
Do not post or promote content that:

• Incites hatred or violence

• Discriminates based on protected characteristics

• Supports or glorifies hate or extremist ideologies

4. Impersonation, Privacy, and Misuse of Identity

The Double exists to help professionals express their authentic identity.
Do not:

• Impersonate any person, company, or organization

• Use AI Twins or generated content to misrepresent others

• Share private or confidential data of others

• Distribute private media without consent

If you collect user data (forms, analytics, etc.), you must provide a compliant privacy notice.

5. AI and Generative Content

AI is a core feature of The Double and must be used responsibly.
You may not use AI Twins or AI-generated content to:

• Impersonate individuals or organizations

• Spread misinformation or manipulated media

• Generate harmful, abusive, or sexual content

• Make misleading professional claims or endorsements

• Use private or third-party data without proper consent

You are responsible for how your AI Twin behaves and communicates.
The Double may restrict or suspend AI access in case of misuse.

6. Illegal or Regulated Goods and Services

Do not use The Double to promote or facilitate illegal or restricted activities, including:

• Controlled substances, alcohol, or tobacco

• Weapons or explosives

• Stolen or counterfeit goods

• Trafficking or exploitation

• Hazardous materials

• Pyramid schemes or deceptive financial models

7. Spam, Fraud, and Misrepresentation

Do not:

• Create multiple profiles to manipulate engagement

• Use deceptive links or redirects

• Collect data under false pretenses

• Engage in phishing or fraud

• Mass-generate profiles for manipulation or monetization abuse

8. Harassment and Bullying

You may not use The Double to:

• Harass, threaten, or intimidate

• Encourage targeted abuse

• Use AI Twins to mock, provoke, or demean others

We may restrict or remove accounts involved in harassment.

9. Extremism, Violence, and Terrorism

We prohibit support or promotion of extremist or violent activities.
Do not:

• Advocate, recruit, or fundraise for such organizations

• Share violent propaganda

• Glorify acts of violence or terrorism

10. Child Safety and Exploitation

We enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy.
Do not share any content involving exploitation of minors, including:

• Abuse or grooming

• Inappropriate depictions (including AI-generated)

Such content may be reported to authorities.

11. Self-Harm and Sensitive Topics

Do not promote or glorify self-harm or harmful behaviors.
Constructive discussions must remain responsible and non-graphic.
If you need help, contact local support services.

12. Shocking or Violent Content

Do not share content intended to shock or disturb, including:

• Gore or mutilation

• Abuse or torture

• Graphic violence

13. Copyright and Intellectual Property

Only upload content you own or are authorized to use.
Do not:

• Use copyrighted material without permission

• Violate trademarks, patents, or trade secrets

Do not share or generate:

• False or misleading claims

• Deepfakes intended to deceive

• Harmful misinformation

• Hoaxes or conspiracy content

15. Enforcement and Reporting

Violations may result in:

• Warnings or content removal

• Suspension or permanent account termination

• Restriction of AI Twin access

• Reporting to authorities where required
