The Double is built to help professionals, teams, creators, and organizations create trusted AI-powered identities.
These Community Guidelines explain the basic standards for using The Double. They apply to profiles, Doubles, Cards, voice features, knowledge uploads, embeds, workflows, conversations, and content shared through the platform.
By using The Double, you agree to follow these Guidelines, along with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Report Abuse & Takedown Policy.
If you see something that looks fake, harmful, misleading, or abusive, report it to [email protected].
1. Use The Double Honestly
Use The Double to build trust, not to deceive people.
Do not use the platform to misrepresent who you are, what you do, who you represent, or what your Double can do.
Your profile, Double, name, content, and claims should be accurate, respectful, lawful, and not misleading.
2. Be Clear When AI Is Involved
People should understand when they are interacting with AI.
Do not hide, remove, or contradict AI labels, banners, notices, or disclosures.
Do not present AI-generated text, voice, images, video, or synthetic content as real if it could mislead, manipulate, defame, or harm someone.
If your Double is fictional, experimental, parody-based, or role-based, make that clear.
3. Do Not Impersonate Others
Do not create or use a Double, profile, voice, name, photo, likeness, brand, or persona to impersonate someone else.
This includes individuals, companies, public figures, celebrities, politicians, government officials, employees, customers, creators, fictional characters, brands, and organizations.
You may create a Double for yourself, your authorized team, or your organization.
4. Use Voice and Likeness Responsibly
Voice, image, name, and likeness are sensitive.
Do not use someone’s voice, face, name, or identity unless you have permission and the legal right to use it.
Do not use voice or likeness features to create fake statements, fake endorsements, scams, blackmail, harassment, defamation, or deception.
5. No Fraud, Scams, or Spam
Do not use The Double for:
phishing;
fake job offers;
fake investment offers;
fake customer support;
fake founder or executive outreach;
fake fundraising;
fake invoices;
fake verification;
misleading lead collection;
credential theft;
identity theft;
payment fraud;
spam or mass unsolicited outreach;
deceptive redirects or links.
6. Keep Content Safe and Professional
Do not upload, generate, link to, or share content that is abusive, vulgar, hateful, sexually exploitative, violent, illegal, or intended to harm others.
Do not use The Double to harass, threaten, intimidate, shame, dox, provoke, or repeatedly contact someone after they object.
7. No Hate, Exploitation, or Extremism
Do not promote hatred, discrimination, dehumanization, violence, terrorism, extremist activity, trafficking, exploitation, or organized crime.
This includes content targeting people based on race, ethnicity, caste, religion, nationality, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or similar protected characteristics.
8. Child Safety Is Non-Negotiable
We have zero tolerance for child sexual exploitation, grooming, abuse, or sexualized content involving minors, including AI-generated content.
Such content may lead to immediate account termination, evidence preservation, and reporting to authorities.
9. No Adult or Non-Consensual Sexual Content
Do not use The Double to upload, generate, or share pornographic content, adult services, sexual deepfakes, non-consensual intimate content, or sexualized Doubles of real people.
10. No Dangerous or Harmful Instructions
Do not use The Double to promote, encourage, or assist with:
self-harm;
suicide;
eating disorder behavior;
violence;
weapons misuse;
illegal evasion;
cyber abuse;
dangerous challenges;
real-world harm.
Supportive, educational, or prevention-focused discussions must remain safe and non-graphic.
11. Respect Privacy and Confidentiality
Do not upload, expose, collect, or share personal, sensitive, private, or confidential information unless you are authorized and it is lawful to do so.
This includes private conversations, customer data, employee data, financial data, health data, government IDs, children’s data, private media, and confidential company material.
12. Respect Intellectual Property
Only upload or use content you own or are authorized to use.
Do not misuse copyrighted material, trademarks, logos, brand assets, proprietary documents, fictional characters, scripts, videos, images, audio, or someone else’s name, voice, image, or likeness.
13. Use Workflows and Integrations Carefully
If you connect tools or configure workflows, use them responsibly.
Do not use workflows, actions, or integrations to send spam, access data without permission, alter records fraudulently, scrape private data, impersonate users, bypass third-party permissions, or perform harmful activity.
14. Protect Platform Integrity
Do not misuse The Double’s systems.
You may not create fake accounts, farm credits, bypass limits, overload infrastructure, scrape the platform, reverse engineer the platform, extract prompts or models, sell unauthorized access, interfere with security, or try to access another user’s data.
15. Enforcement
Violations may result in warnings, content removal, profile removal, Double removal, voice restrictions, workflow restrictions, loss of verification, account suspension, permanent account termination, or reporting to authorities where required or appropriate.
We may also act when something is not listed here but creates legal, safety, privacy, security, reputational, or platform integrity risk.
