Introducing The Double: Activate What You Know

For years, we have been putting human knowledge into static formats.

Profiles tell people who we are. Websites explain what we do. Documents hold what we know. Videos capture what we have said.

But none of them can respond.

They cannot understand the person visiting. They cannot answer a follow-up question. They cannot explain something differently when the first explanation does not work. They cannot continue the conversation when we are unavailable.

We built The Double to change that.

What is a Double?

A Double is an interactive version of a person, team, or professional role.

It can talk, chat, explain, demonstrate, answer questions, capture interest, and help people take the next step.

A founder can create a Double that explains the company, shares their thinking, answers common questions, and presents the product.

A coach can create one that introduces their frameworks and helps prospective clients understand how they work.

A sales or support team can create a Double that answers questions, presents information, qualifies visitors, and routes them towards the right person.

The Double does not replace the human. It activates what the human already knows.

Knowledge should not disappear when you are unavailable

Most valuable knowledge is trapped.

It sits inside someone’s head, across dozens of documents, within old conversations, or across pages people may never read.

At the same time, the people who hold that knowledge cannot be available for every visitor, customer, employee, prospect, or question.

This creates a strange problem.

We have more ways to publish than ever, but access to real expertise is still limited by time.

The Double turns that knowledge into something people can interact with.

  • Instead of reading ten pages and trying to find the right answer, someone can simply ask.
  • Instead of watching an entire video, they can begin with the part that matters to them.
  • Instead of waiting for the right person to become available, they can start the conversation immediately.

More than a chatbot

A generic chatbot can answer general questions.

A Double represents a specific source of knowledge, identity, and behaviour.

It can be shaped by:

  • The actions it is allowed to take
  • The information you give it
  • The role you want it to play
  • The way you communicate
  • The topics it should discuss
  • The topics it should avoid
  • The voice it should speak in

This means two Doubles can behave completely differently, even when they use the same underlying intelligence.

One may act like a founder explaining their vision.

Another may guide a prospect through a product.

Another may present a document, collect feedback, or help someone book a meeting.

The intelligence may be shared. The identity and purpose are not.

Built for people and teams

You can create a Double for yourself.

It can represent your knowledge, voice, experience, and professional identity.

You can also create a Double for a team.

A team Double does not have to imitate a real person. It can represent a role, such as sales, support, recruiting, onboarding, training, or customer success.

This gives companies a new way to make their knowledge available without forcing every interaction into a form, document, search bar, or scheduled call.

Start with what you already have

Creating a Double does not mean training an entirely new AI model.

You can begin with information that already exists:

  • Your website
  • PDFs and presentations
  • Product documents
  • Articles and social posts
  • Frequently asked questions
  • Interviews and transcripts
  • Direct notes and written answers

You then decide how the Double should behave.

Should it be short and direct? Warm and conversational? Formal? Humorous? Strictly focused on its knowledge? Open to broader conversations?

You decide what it knows, how it communicates, and where it should stop.

A new kind of presence

We have spent years building digital profiles that help people discover us.

The next step is creating identities that people can interact with.

A page should not only show who you are.

It should be able to explain what you know.

A document should not only be downloadable.

It should be able to present itself and answer questions.

A website should not only wait for someone to fill out a form.

It should be able to begin a useful conversation.

This is the shift we are building towards.

From static identity to interactive identity.

From publishing knowledge to activating it.

From being visible online to being available.

We are only getting started

Today, Doubles can talk, chat, answer questions, present information, capture leads, and help people move towards the next step.

We are building towards Doubles that can do more, including connecting with the tools people already use and completing approved actions on their behalf.

But the principle will remain the same.

The human stays at the centre.

Their knowledge, their identity, their rules, and their intent shape the experience.

The Double simply makes more of it available.

The Double is here.

It is time to activate what you know.
