Make Your Double Sound More Like You

When your Double is first activated, it starts in a safe default mode.

This Means:

• It speaks in third person

• It behaves more like a personal AI assistant representing you

• It uses a default voice and personality

Example:

“Sahith is the founder of The Double.”
“He works on AI-powered digital twins.”

This setup works well if you want your Double to act like an assistant handling conversations on your behalf.

But many users want something more personal.

They want their Double to actually feel like them.

Example:

"I'm the founder of The Double."
"I work on AI-powered digital twins."

The experience is possible with two quick changes.

Step 1: Clone Your Voice

Upload or record your voice so your Double sounds more natural and recognizable.

To clone your voice
Click Edit Double > Voice Dashboard > Voice Clone > Record / Upload Voice

Tips for better voice cloning:

• Speak naturally

• Use a quiet environment

• Avoid robotic reading

• Include pauses and emotional variation

A good voice clone makes conversations:

• More personal

• More trustworthy

• More immersive

• More human

Step 2: Change Perspective to First Person

By default, your Double speaks in third person.

To make it behave more like your actual digital twin:
Edit Double > Persona > Change Response structure from: Third Person to First Person

This changes how your Double refers to itself during conversations.

Third Person Mode

Best for:

• Personal assistants

• Team agents

• Company representatives

• Support-style interactions

Example:
"John has 10 years of experience in SaaS."

First Person Mode

Best for:

• Personal branding

• Founder conversations

• Coaches and consultants

• Sales and networking

•  Creator interactions

Example:
